Easily Disable Messenger

Go into C\Program Files\Messenger
rename the Messenger folder to something like "MessengerOFF"
This does not slow down Outlook or hinder system performance
Allow more than 2 simultaneous downloads in IE 6
This is to increase the the number of max downloads to 10.

1. Locate the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersionInternetSettings
2. On the Edit menu, click Add Value , and then add the following « Dword » values:

"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=Dword:0000000a
"MaxConnectionsPerServer"=Dword:0000000a
