Note The more ram you have, the less likely it is that the Paging File will be needed, so you can actually cut back a little. If you have between 512 meg and 1 gig ram, the 768 setting is more than enough (you can even try 512 if you like). If you have a gig or more, 384 should suffice. The exceptions would be if you are running CAD or a large database program, you might then want to go back to the 1.5 rule of thumb regardless of how much ram you have.
